The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio serves close to six million citizens in the northern 40 counties of the State of Ohio, with court locations in Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Toledo, and Youngstown.
All offices are open to the public Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Methods of Payment
Payments for electronically filed cases and documents must be made by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Over-the-counter payments may be made with cash, cashier's check, certified check, or money order made payable to "Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court." A debtor's personal check or credit card shall not be accepted. Only cash or money order will be accepted from a second party filing on behalf of the debtor.
