ECF Registration

Attorneys who do not already have an ECF login should click on the Attorney Registration Utility link below, and then click on "Attorney Full Access."

Attorney Registration Utility

This utility is for local and out-of-district attorneys, including attorney-trustees, who are members in good standing of the Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, or of any court of the United States, or of the highest court of any state.

Law office staff who are not attorneys are not eligible to submit a registration form. Counsel may register for a second login to allow staff to file using the attorney's login.

A Chapter 7 or 13 trustee who also serves as private counsel should only register once. Two separate logins and passwords will be issued, one for his or her role as trustee, and one for his or her role as private counsel.

Claims Agents should click on the Claims Agent Registration Utility link below, and then click on "Claims Agent Access."

Claims Agent Registration Utility

This utility is for claims agents and creditors for the limited purposes of filing, assigning, transferring, or withdrawing proofs of claim, and filing reaffirmation agreements.

Because registration as an attorney provides greater ECF privileges than registration as a claims agent, an attorney who represents claims agents or creditors, and whose practice includes additional bankruptcy matters, should register as an attorney and not as a claims agent.

All other users, including attorneys who are seeking a second login, should complete one of the below listed ECF Registration forms, and submit it to the court via email or fax.

Please note that if you are intending to file a Proof of Claim, do not use the Professional Persons Registration form. Instead, please access the Claims Agent Registration Utility above.
